On Monday, April 27th we kicked off our partnership with MANNA Food Bank and Macon Program for Progress. We will be partnering to support the monthly food distribution at the Macon County Fairgrounds. Thanks to help from our fabulous volunteer, Casey, we were able to distribute 272lbs of Deal Farms strawberries. Since then, we have distributed more strawberries from both Deal and H & H Farms totaling more than 2000lbs of strawberries that moved through our hub to a dozen partner food relief agencies in two weeks. Greens, spring onions, radishes, and cucumbers are starting to roll in as we kick off the start of a vibrant growing season.
