Produce Purchase Guarantee (PPG)
We manage the Produce Purchase Guarantee Program at Macon County Farmers Market and Cowee School Farmer's Market. For the duration of the market season, we will purchase any leftover produce at the end of market. Produce is donated to local food pantries to feed individuals and families in need. This program is a win-win for all. Food goes unwasted, local farmers benefit economically, and people in need gain access to fresh, local produce.
